  Materials are gathered, refined, and finally used to create any one of hundreds of items. Magical items are rare in DartMUD, making everyday items valuable.

• Variety: The vast number of choices in material in DartMUD allow for in-depth customization of items. Numerous choices of lumber, metals, fibers, dyes, leathers and furs, embroidery patterns, and culinary ingredients are available for the player character to choose from.
