Light is important to the success of your character. If it is too dark in a room for you to see properly, you will notice it in the rooms long description and your actions in that room will be affected accordingly. It can get so dark that a room may appear pitch black to you!
Sunlight plays an important role in the outside spaces of DartMud. The daytime lasts approximately 2 hours and then nighttime sets in. The lighting levels will gradually grow brighter during the daytime and at night it will become so dark that someone with an average nightvision will be unable to see outdoors.
