pbParchment/b
pParchment has a variety of uses, but is most commonly used for writing notes or letters. Parchment may be crafted from sheepskin and tannic acid. It may also be purchased at post offices, stationers and other shops.
pTo write a note or a letter you'll need a piece of parchment, some ink and a quill. Once you have gathered the supplies you may iwrite note/i or iwrite letter/i. If you use the iwrite letter/i command you will automatically be prompted for the To: and From: addresses (which you may leave blank if you wish). If you use iwrite note/i you will not be prompted, although you can always use the iaddress/i command afterwards. The text you write will be in the language you are currently speaking and in a handwriting style dependant on your stats. Once you are done with the message you may isign note/i to affix your signature.
pNotes and letters can be folded with the ifold note/letter/i command and they can also sealed to ensure privacy. To do so, you need some sealing wax, a flame and the iseal note/letter/i command. If you have either a seal or a signet ring you may leave your mark in the wax to ensure authenticity.
pTo read a letter, you must first iunfold/i or iopen/i it or if it is sealed, you can ibreak seal/i.
pOnce a piece of parchment has been written on it can be referred to either as a note or a letter. Once it has been sealed it becomes a letter, but can still be referred to as a note.
pOnce you have written your note or letter you have a couple options for delivery: you may mail it at a nearby post office or, if you know where the person resides, you may islip note/letter under door/i.
