Some areas of the game may allow you to buy things. In most places, you will be able to figure out how to do this by reading the posted signs, or by conversing with the locals.

In most shops, after careful study of the list, you may simply command your character to "buy 100 apples" or "buy dagger". You may have to be quite specific, or the shopkeeper may not select the correct item from his or her inventory.
