Registered members may wish to rename their character.
Unregistered members need not utilize this procedure. They may simply log in with the new name, and generate the character.
You may only rename your character between lives, ie when you are a spirit in Purgatory.
To do this, you must first be dead (or not yet alive), and in Purgatory. You must be logged in with your old name. Now type:
rename new name
You'll then be asked for your registration password. Now you may log back on as your new name.
Note: This is the ONLY way you can change your name. No, we will not switch your name for you and allow you to keep your skills/ bank balance/inn time etc.
There is a 10 minute delay associated with renaming.
