COMMAND HELP: CAST
Usage: cast [!] spell [@power] [arguments]
This command is used for casting spells that you know. spell may either be the name of the spell, or its index number preceeded by a # (e.g. #10). The optional 'power' argument allows you to decide what percentage of the base power to use when casting. Using more than 100% the nominal cost will decrease the difficulty of casting, similarly using fewer will increase it. 'arguments' varies from spell to spell. See the helpfile for the particular spell in question for details. The spell may be 'practiced' by putting a ! between the 'cast' and the name of the spell. The spell will have no effect (positive or negative), but the difficulty will be somewhat less than for normal casting, thus making it easier to learn at low levels. Keep in mind that casting spells may affect your alignment hence affecting your success in casting certain spells.
Examples: cast lesser_heal_other @60 Darkstar left hand (Here you would actually attempt to heal Darkstar's left hand.)
cast ! lesser_heal_other @60 Quest right leg (Here you would be practicing to heal Quest's right leg.)
