The following rules apply to emotes, abuse of them could result in any of the discliplinary actions listed under "punishments".
1) Do not emote what someone else is feeling. Dont try to force emotions on others. ie no :hugs /thalia/ and she laughs.
2) No (and this means none) out of character emotes. ie do not :fires his laser at the poipine.
3) Do not try to embed ansi colors in your emotes, this will result in instant loss of character and possible site banishment.
4) Use of emote to simulate actions you could normally do with feelings (see help feelings) is allowed, but please remember rule #1. ie :kicks /noiprocs/. is ok, but :kicks you. is not if there is more than one person in the room.
5) Keep emotes realistic. ie no :grows a second head. (see #2 above)
