Lobster fishing

Lobster is the king of seafood and a great delicacy. It is incredibly rich in dishes from a simple grilled lobster tail to a creamy seafood bisque.

Lobster can be obtained using a lobster pot, a half-cylinder of wood slats with net-like coverings over each end, and a rope attached to it. A skilled wood worker can make one for you, but it will help if they have some knowledge of fishing.

Once you obtain a lobster pot, you will need to put some bait into it to attract the lobsters. Lobsters are carrion eaters -- any raw meat will work. Just use 'bait pot' to do so. Once you have the pot baited you will want to put it in the water: use 'cast pot' or 'cast pot to the direction'. This will put the pot in the water and you'll tie off the rope to whatever is handy.

The next step is patience. You will have to wait for a time for the lobsters to find the bait and crawl into the pot. After a time, you'll need to come back and pull the pot back in using the rope (use 'pull rope').

Don't be too surprised if you get things other than lobsters. The sea can deposit unusual objects in your pot. Once you get the pot, you can 'dump pot' to get the contents out.

Happy lobstering!
