Registering as a user requires a valid email address and that you provide your REAL NAME, both first and last. This is not negotiable! If you cannot comply with this you may not register here.p
Registrations are NON-TRANSFERABLE. You may not give your character to another person to use.p
Due to abuses by several individuals, Dartmud does not accept registrations from AOL email addresses. We also do not accept registrations from free/anonymous e-mail providers such as hotmail, yahoo, email.com etc. Many of these addresses are blocked. If you do manage to register with a free e-mail address, your character is subject to deletion without prior notice.p
Users who have existing registrations (i.e., prior to 2002 or so) which use free/anonymous providers are not being removed, but no such email account will be granted new second character privileges. p
Furthermore, existing registrations using free/anonymous providers are not given the benefit of the doubt by the administration. If you have such an account and behave in a suspicious manner, your character will be deleted and your registration revoked without a hearing. p Members registered using fake or incomplete real life names will be deleted as soon as we get around to it.p
If you forget your password or registration code, *do not* register under another email and name. Use the 'forgot' command.p
