Usage: emote message :message act message
A command used to express yourself by body language, similar to the socials (see 'help feelings') but in a more freeform manner. Notice in the second form with the colon, there is no space between the colon and the message.
For example if Fred types: :crosses his arms and leans against the wall. Everyone sees: Fred crosses his arms and leans against the wall.
If the first character of the message is an apostrophe ('), there be no space between the name and the message.
Example: :'s tail twitches. Everyone sees: Fred's tail twitches.
Additionally, Fred might have included a name enclosed in slashes ('/'), to direct the emote at someone. The named person will see 'you' in place of their name, while everyone else sees the name of the person. If the name is a possessive (i.e. ends in 's), the named person sees 'your'.
Examples: :crosses his arms and glares at /bob/ stonily. :listens for /bob's/ apology. Bob sees: Fred crosses his arms and glares at you stonily. Fred listens for your apology. Everyone else sees: Fred crosses his arms and glares at Bob stonily. Fred listens for Bob's apology.
