COMMAND HELP: SAY

Usage: say [(lang=language)] [to whom] message

Say is the basic method for communication. Those people in the same room as you will get the message 'name says, "message"'. If you are speaking a language other than common, then they may see something else depending on their and your skill in the language. You may use ' and " instead of say, and then a space is not required.

If you include (lang=language), then you will speak the sentence in language. Note the required parentheses.

If you include 'to whom' people will see 'name says to whom, "message"' and the one to whom you are speaking will see 'name says to you, "message"'
